[This amount is invested in Railway Preference Stock. and the Dividends are applied to meet the ordinary expenses of the Currie Schools, but the income is insufficient for the necessary out-lay].
Mr. Robert Henderson, Malone Park, at the disposal of Rev. J. Macnaughtan for benefit of Congregation, £200, increased by accumulations of interest to 250 0 0  
[Mr. Macnaughtan arranged that this sum should be lent to the Congregation, and directed that one-fourth of the interest should be applied to support of Congregational Missionary, and the remainder divided among the Sabbath schools in connection with the Congregation, in proportion to number of pupils attending].
