AT THE ANNUAL MEETING OF THE Belfast Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, held in CLARENCE PLACE HALL, on THURSDAY, April 9th, 1874, the following Resolutions were adopted unanimously :--

Moved by ROBT. BOAG, Esq.; seconded by W. H. PATTBBSON, Esq.--
"That James P. Corry, Esq., J.P., M.P., take the chair."

The chair having been taken by Mr. CORRY. M.P., Rev. Mr. MOORE engaged in devotional exercises, after which Mr. W. H. PATTERSON read the report of the Committee for the past year, and Mr. WAKEFIELD PIM the Statement of Accounts.

Moved by the CHAIRMAN; seconded by Mr. ELIAS H. THOMPSON, and resolved--
"That the Report now presented and Statement of Accounts be adopted, printed, and transmitted to the Members of the Society and circulated at the discretion of the Committee."

Moved by the Rev. Professor ROGERS; seconded by THOS. GAFFIKIN, Esq., and resolved--
"That the meeting satisfied with the principle's on which the Society is founded, and gratified with the success, under Divine Providence, that has attended it during the last and former years, are encouraged to make increased efforts to abolish all cruel customs, and to promote more extensively the cause of humanity towards the lower creation."
